money isn't everything...

assalamualaikum....

this morning, as usual, after watching The Oprah Winfrey Show, i did realize something that money and fame isn't everything in this world.. why??

well, in the show today, Oprah has invited the daughter of the famous rock and roll star during 70's, Mackenzie Philip.. She revealed the real life of her in her book. "high in arrival" if i am not mistaken.. Mackenzie, revealed that she tried heroin when she was eleven.. and started to take drug at the age of 15.. she had tried all kind of drug which has been supplied by her own father.. yes, her own father.

and then she did revealed something that makes me istighfar.. she had sex with her own father..

why i tell this story?? as we can see that Mackenzie Philip is famous and rich.. however, the fame and money drag her to the hectic life.. you people would say that "Ala, biase la tu.. mat salleh kan.. nak kesah ape.." well helo, this scenario not only happen to the western, but also in our country.. just see our artists nowadays..

i also have read about the rich brat stories, attempt suicide.. why is that eh?? they've got everything..money, car, branded shoes name it: LV, DKNY and so on, clothes and whatsoever..but their souls are empty.. the main point here is, you need to have faith.. to achieve the true happiness in life, one should never forget their root.. once you've died, all of these things will leave you..

so, remember that the world only for some time, but the hereafter is everlasting.... renung2kan dan selamat beramal!
